I fail at blogging.

Yes, I am terribly sorry. I am not a very good blogger. I tend to forget or just never get around to posting...

HOWEVER, much has happened! For one, over this past week were the Fiestas del Pilar, basically the biggest festival of the year in Zaragoza. So many parades, street performers, concerts, people... everything a Spanish festival is supposed to be! :) The festival (the official day of Pilar is October 12) celebrates Nuestra Señora del Pilar, the patron virgin of Spain. The reason the holiday is especially important here in Zaragoza is because her shrine is in the cathedral (Catedral-Basílica de Nuestra Señora del Pilar) here.

Read more about Nuestra Señora del Pilar here. (Wikipedia is awesome.)

Picture: La ofrenda de flores. (The offering of flowers to the Virgin in front of the Cathedral.)

Also, I got a job! I'm tutoring in English to a 10-year-old kid. It is fantastic... more on that later. (I'm thinkng it requires a video post :) ) And, I start harp lessons here this Tuesday! Hopefully all goes well with that. SO excited! I get to play on the pedal harp - back home I play the Celtic/lever harp.

But that's all I'm going to write for now. I need to get some more homework finished at the moment. :)
