I wrote some clerihews for English class. For those of you unfamiliar with what a clerihew is, it is a four-line poem with an AABB rhyme scheme, having to do with a proper noun - most of the time a famous person. They are usually somewhat humorous. Let me know what you think...and yes these are kind of lame but whatever, don't judge. :)

Held my heart for a moment.
But when I heard he was dating Katy Perry,
That poster in my room went down in a hurry.
Neil Armstrong
Has been famous for long.
But why do we so often forget Buzz Aldrin,
Or even more so - Michael Collins?
Spongebob Squarepants
Makes me want to do a dance.
Yes I do confess,
I still watch his show and all of its silliness.
(Okay, so I know some of them don't exactly rhyme, but if you say them a certain way they kind of do...)
